RovásTan is handwriting practice for Hungarian runes (székely-magyar rovásírás), made by BNG Studios.
Pick Letters (alphabet), Words (Foundation vocabulary), Numbers (the six traditional number signs), or My Runes (your list). Choose chapters, then tap Begin Practice. Quick Access has Continue and Translate Runes (Latin ↔ runes).
The front shows the Latin letter, Hungarian word, or numeral. Write the rune(s) on the canvas, right to left. Ghost shows a faint outline. Strokes plays recorded stroke order when a letter has been captured; otherwise it traces the font. Check scores your ink on the device — Easy or Exact in Settings. Flip shows the rune, a memory note, Old Hungarian / pronunciation, the Latin gloss, and example words.
In Settings the default is Old Hungarian (Zsolt Sz. Sztupák) with the Traditional (Hagyományos) letter set. You can switch to Noto Sans, School (38 letters), and mix faces letter by letter. Ghost, chips, Strokes and Check follow the cut you chose.
Find a rune by Latin letter, Hungarian name, the rune itself, drawing it, or typing with the in-app Rune keyboard (not a system keyboard).
Free: Letters vowels, all number signs, the first Words chapter, My Runes (5 cards), Translate (10 letters). A one-time Pro purchase on Google Play or the App Store unlocks the rest, including future content. A purchase on one store does not unlock the other. See the Terms of Use.
The ✓ checkbox tracks learned cards. Blindspots keeps only what you have not learned. Export / Import progress in Settings.
